Time slipping away

Job 7:1
[1] Is there not an appointed time to man upon earth? are not his days also like the days of an hireling?

Just this past week alone, there are news of 4 people passing on. Two were from Church, the other two were relatives of church mates.

The first one that i attended was quite a strange one. She was only member of our church for two days, coz she was baptised on Monday, and she went home to the Lord on Wednesday. Anyway, it is just amazing how God answers prayers for this one. When our member, her aunty, sent out emergency sms to pray for her niece. I was wondering, wah.. Quite difficult. She was in her terminal stage of cancer, and she refused to meet anyone, the only people by her side was her parents.

I remembered my prayer, as in, i dont usually remember the actual prayer, but this strangely i did remember. I was kneeling down, the first prayer was actually for my mummy, was crying asking God to have mercy on her, to open her eyes, to give her time. Then next on list was Esther. And i just looked up, sighed and said "Heavenly Father ar, I dont know how to pray for this one, all i ask is for You to work in her heart, only You can reach her now. Besides her initating for people to visit her, nobody except You can move her." And in my heart, i thought, I cant wait to see the miracle Lord.

I prayed this on either Wed, Thurs. the date i really cant remember, but on Monday, I received news she allowed her Aunty to visit, as well as the rest of the relatives! So Pastor went down, went through the gospel with her, and she accepted, and then she was baptised!
Im like.. Waaaaaaaa... And all I did was, "THANK YOU FATHER!!!"

And then on Wednesday morning, she was home with the Lord. No more pain, no more suffering, and with a restored body. I attended my first virgil service, and was helping to fix up the piano when lil Jeff Heng came to talk to me

Jeff: Is she on her way to heaven now?

Me: Well darling, she's already with God.

Jeff: (looks worried) should we check the box?

Me: (control smiling) No dear, her soul is with God, her body is here.

Jeff: (looks confused) so the whole box goes up?

Me: Well, the body will only go up during rapture..

Jeff: (Looks in the box's direction, and walks away)

AWW!! He's so cute!! Only 5 years old lei!! So smart boy!! hahahaha, i wanted to hug him and give him a mighty you-are-so-clever-&-adorable boy kiss.. Haha, but i thought it wasnt appropriate.

Well, life's short my friends. Be mindful and wise of how you are spending each moment.
