Saved to Serve

Matthew 24:45
Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

Today we went to Life BPC to sing for their 60th anniversary. I think we did quite well =) i was quite blown away by other churches' choir, i think our choir can achieve that!

Rev Charles Seet gave quite a good message, i didnt bring my pen and paper, so whatever i wrote here is solely based on my migrained-memory..

"Saved to serve, Jesus is coming" based on Matthew 24:45 - 51..

I was reminded to be faithful and wise. There were 3 points.

The verse to focus on was verse 45

1) Servant
- is not greater than the Master. So if Jesus washes the feet of his disciples as an act of love, what more can we do to give to others?

2) Faithful
- consistency on service

3) Wise
- choices we made that shows we love God more than other.

It was a really short message but awakening one.. I hope it speaks to everyone who is reading this, and remember we are to be the light and salt that Jesus calls for.
